One of our favourite Spring Weekend groups here at camp is our Mother Daughter Weekend. {May 4-6 this year.} We are excited to announce that this year’s speaker will be former MP {member of Parliament} Deborah Grey.
I’ll {hesitantly} admit that I’m not really an expert on Canadian politics, but I can say with confidence that Deb is an excellent speaker! She has been here twice (since I’ve been on staff) in the past, and I still remember her story. Her testimony is a powerful one, and her journey with Jesus began as a little girl right here at Camp Homewood. Isn’t that neat?
If you are interested in attending Mother Daughter Weekend, I highly recommend it. Not only will you get to hear Deb speak, you will also get to participate in activities (like sailing, horseback riding, crafts, and canoeing) that are designed with Mothers and daughters in mind.
And, you can also bring Grandma along! We love to see three generations making memories together here at camp.
The price of $100 is all inclusive and includes lodging, meals, and all activities.
